Supervisor Lawson opened the regular meeting of the Town of Harmony at 7:30 pm at the above time and place.
Approval of minutes
Resolution 8-16
On a motion by Councilman Jordan, seconded by Councilman Hinderer the following resolution was
ADOPTED 5 ayes Lawson, Radka, Jordan, Wares, Hinderer

Resolved that the minutes of August 10, 2016 be approved.
CEO’s Report:
• 1 permit granted
• Mrs. Eddy will be in training all week
Planning Board Update:
• No report
Animal Control Officers Report:
• No Report
Court Report
• Reports from May, June, July 2016 were presented for audit
Highway Superintendents Report:
On a motion by Councilman Hinderer and Seconded by Councilman Wares the following resolution was
ADOPTED 5 ayes Lawson, Radka, Jordan, Wares, Hinderer

Wilcox Road located in the Town of Harmony, County of Chautauqua shall not be open to public travel during the months so designated by Highway Superintendent Card. Wilcox Road is labeled a season use only road.
Town Clerk Report:
• Financial report of the Town Clerk’s office was given
• The Bicentennial Celebration agenda was presented to the Board members
Supervisor’s Report:
• Financial report of the Town was given
• Budget figures need to be to Dan Laurito by next week
• The budget workshop shall be held on Wednesday October 19th at 7 pm at the Highway building in Watts Flats
• Supervisor Lawson reported that he had spoken to Metallico Recycling in Blockville about the piles of scrap and mud in the road. They will work on cleaning up.
• Empire Cheese has been sold to Castelli Cheese. A grand opening ceremony will be next week.
• The Whittier Apple Farm has been purchased by a group of local business men and it is re-open.
Old Business:
• The next step in the building addition process is to do a feasibility study and pursue funding.
New Business:
• No new business

On a Motion of Councilman Radka and Seconded by Councilman Jordan the following resolution was
ADOPTED 5 ayes Radka, Lawson, Jordan, Wares, Hinderer

Resolved that the bill be paid on Abstract # in the following amounts
General $4,085.77 Voucher #’s 138-154
Highway $ 66,489.55 Voucher #’s 123-145
With no further business, on a motion by Councilman Hinderer, seconded by Councilman Jordan the meeting was adjourned at pm 8:03 pm. Carried Unanimously.
